Show Shuffler ("we", "the site") helps you shuffle a random episode from your favorite shows. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the site handles and why.
Account information. If you create an account, we store your email address, a username, and your show list, watch history, and preferences, so your data syncs across your devices. Accounts and this data are handled through Google Firebase.
Sign-in with Google. If you choose "Continue with Google," Google shares basic profile information (such as your email) to create your account. We never see your Google password.
On-device data. Some information — like blocked channels, dismissed notices, and profiles — is stored locally in your browser and never leaves your device unless you are signed in.
Analytics. We use Google Analytics to understand general, anonymous usage — such as how many people visit and which pages are viewed. This does not identify you by name.
We do not sell your personal data. We do not show third-party advertising that tracks you across the web at this time. We do not host or store any video content.
Show and availability data comes from TMDB. When an episode is officially available for free on YouTube, it plays through YouTube's own embedded player, and YouTube's own privacy terms apply to that playback. Links to streaming services take you to those services, which have their own privacy policies.
Show Shuffler is a general-audience service and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will remove it.
You can stop using an account at any time and request deletion of your stored data by contacting us. You can also use the site without an account, in which case your data stays on your device.
